Project Manager

The Project Manager leads commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through close-out on HBI’s industrial, retail, and self-storage developments. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the project team, negotiating and administering subcontracts and change orders, overseeing project budgets and schedules, and proactively identifying and mitigating project risks using established construction management systems. The Project Manager must be a strategic and detail-oriented leader capable of managing complex project requirements while maintaining high standards of quality, accountability, and communication, and building strong, trust-based relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Senior Estimator

The Superintendent provides on-site leadership for HBI’s industrial, retail, and self-storage projects, ensuring all phases of construction are executed with uncompromising standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating and directing subcontractors, resolving site issues, submitting and tracking RFIs, and maintaining the project schedule to ensure timely and successful completion from groundbreaking through close-out. The Superintendent must be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, capable of proactively solving complex construction challenges.

The Senior Estimator leads our preconstruction efforts by delivering accurate and comprehensive cost estimates through detailed analysis of project requirements and close collaboration with design teams. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans and specifications, performing material take-offs, soliciting, analyzing, and reviewing subcontractor pricing, evaluating subcontractor bids for completeness, accuracy, scope coverage, and compliance with project requirements, and preparing complete and competitive bid proposals. The Senior Estimator also identifies cost-saving opportunities throughout the preconstruction and bidding process and develops and maintains strong relationships with key subcontractors to support reliable pricing, performance, and long-term partnerships.
